In 1992 after a massive crash 17 year old former BMX World plate holder and Zimbabwe Senior 125cc Moto-X Champion Brett Van Rooyen found himself on his bed crying out to God for wisdom.
With a passion for racing, apparel design and his faith this young Christian believed it was his purpose to spread the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ by wearing his Faith in a career as a professional Moto-X rider.

THE TURNING POINT
THE DREAM
Still recovering from the operation, he wanted to know directly from heaven whether it was really God's will for him to pursue this dream.
As he opened his bible he found himself in 1 Kings 3 v 4-15 where a young King called Solomon was also asking God for wisdom. He was the Son of King David of Israel and as a young King he sought God's wisdom in how to lead this great people.
God appeared to Solomn in a dream at Gibeon and granted him his request for wisdom over riches and worldly honor. Brett took this to be his answer too and off he went after high school to pursue this mission through racing.
THE JOURNEY
Faithwear as the brand began and sales began trackside and would subsidize his racing expenses while he competed as an amateur.
22 years on Brett has mentored and prayed for fellow riders, run a clothing facility of 240 employees, owned 5 Faith retail outlets and in recent years Faithrace has taken the BMX racing world by storm literally.

Since 2010 to date Faith has been the Official Merchandiser to he UCI BMX World Championships.
From South Africa to Europe, from New Zealand to Colombia Faithrace has become a household name for BMX racers and their families.
THE PURSUIT
THE REALITY
It is Our vision to inspire the world of racing to the true meaning of what it is to have "Faith"
NOW FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS UNSEEN!
Hebrews11v1.
It enables us to believe that all we aspire to be we already are – The question that remains is “WILL WE GO THERE”
"Keep the Faith!"
